NOT YOUR GUT INSTINCT
Apr 11th
As you should know, we’ve got over 30 students heading to Managua, Nicaragua in June of this year. In all of our preparation and thinking strategically about this trip, we’ve been able to work really hard and raise a lot of money. But beyond the financial preparations that come with taking that many students to a foreign country, there are tons of spiritual preparations we are taking together.
One such preparation, is asking God to help us become servants. In other words, we want God to make us into people who think about ourselves last and our friends and even enemies first. In an effort to do that, the staff self-published a little devotional on servanthood called, Not Your Gut Instinct. It’s a great tool to help us grow together as servants. If you would like a copy, just send us an email and we’ll get it to you somehow for $0…how about that?

Tonight: ONE BOOK ONE NIGHT
Mar 23rd
Tonight is ONE BOOK ONE NIGHT where we will be looking at the book of Haggai, the whole book, in just one night. Are you ready? We’re excited to see you there. From 7-9, we’ll hang out with one another and open this often-forgotten-but-great little book of the Bible and see what it all means. With a fifteen minute break in the middle, we will together find out what this book has to say to 21st century high school students.
It’ll be more discussion-based study with questions to get your input flowing. If you’re in town over spring break, don’t miss hanging out with some of your great friends and connecting with God.
Here’s where you can find the Young Life House (5491 Broadway St West Linn, OR):
Wednesday Nights will be back on its regular time March 30th @ WCC.
