Due to Christmas we have decided to take a break from High School group, Wednesday, Dec. 30th. We will resume meeting with one another the following week, January 6th.

Holy Smokes! Can you believe that Christmas is just around the corner? I can’t, but the fact is, it is. In celebration of Jesus, we want to throw a party Wednesday, December 16th at 7 pm. Here is the deal though, we need you to bring three things:
- Your favorite Christmas Cookies
- A wrapped Gift for the Gift Exchange (Cannot be more than $5)
- Last, but not least, bring a friend.

Due to Thanksgiving falling on Thursday the 26th we have decided to cancel High School group Wednesday the 25th. High School group will resume the following Wednesday (December 3rd). Thanks so much for being apart of our ministry. You all rock!

I want to let all of you know about an upcoming Parent Meeting that we will be having. I am excited for this time together, because it gives us an opportunity to get to know one another better, and also share with you our vision for the Student Ministries here at Willamette Christian Church. Mark Wagner Concert!
Oct 15th
We are super stoked to be hosting Mark Wagner at Willamette Christian Church on November 8, 2009. The concert will be $5, it’s for all ages, and it’ll all go down starting at 7pm.
For those of you who don’t know, Mark is an incredibly cool guy and totally gifted + talented + awesome songwriter. Mark has been involved with Young Life for years, and has done lots of trips, camps, and outreaches with them. Those of us who went to Malibu this past summer got to meet him and hear his talent and passion for God as he led the music at club all week long. Check out Mark’s website here.
Also playing that night will be Ryan Long, and possssssssibly an appearance from yours truly (Aaron)… I haven’t decided yet. But I’ll probably do it. Since you guys like me so much. Ha….
That Sunday night is the night we get back from our JESUS WEEKEND, which is also going to be very cool… what a great way to end the weekend, right? You don’t need to do homework, you can put that off.
Anyway be sure to tell ALL your friends about this show! It’s going to be amazing!

So JESUS WEEKEND. November 6-8, 2009. Waldport, OR. Where is that? WHO CARES, IF THIS CRAZY HOUSE IS THERE? Well, to be specific, it’s on the coast. And when I say on the coast, I mean that when you walk out the back door, you are on the beach.
Guys and gals, this is going to be an amazing weekend. We’re going to go through the gospel of Mark, and you guys are going to come away just amazed at who Jesus is. There will be lots of great hang time, football on the beach, hot tubbing, and other awesomeness as well!

If you need to rent skis or a snowboard, you will also need to fill out a separate form (not downloadable) for that. Once you sign up, we will mail you this form, or you can fill it out on Wednesday night (Feb 4) at youth group, or, if you’re a slacker, at the Saturday or Sunday church services on February 7 or 8. Once again, the deadline to sign up is Monday, February 9!
