BIG SKY MISSION 2012
This summer, over July 22nd-28th, we will be driving by bus into the beautiful Flathead Valley of Montana to learn more about Jesus through serving a missionary school.
Over this week, we will work and sweat in order to serve the campus of Youth With a Mission (YWAM) Montana. YWAM exists to train Christian disciples, to evangelize the lost and to mobilize the church to action. They do this through training, music, worship, performing arts and sports ministries-challenging and giving opportunity to children, teens, and adults for strategic short and long term missions worldwide. The base or campus in Montana is a hub to train these disciples. Each year, hundreds of students come to the base for a six month training on site. They learn the Scriptures, pray together, and live amongst one another in order to be encouraged and led by the Spirit. After a time of training, YWAM sends these young people out to a foreign country to experience what they have learned.
We’re going this summer to beautify and expand the structures and facilities of the YWAM base so that, come fall, the students that return can have an encouraging surrounding to better seek the voice of God in their life.
